OUR MISSION
The Peacock Athletic Fund is dedicated to supporting Upper Iowa University student athletes through contributions that provide resources to excel both academically and athletically.
The Peacock Athletic Fund (PAF) helps provide student-athletes with the best possible resources to maximize their potential as students, as athletes, and most importantly, as people.The financial support of alumni, family, friends and fans of UIU student-athletes is vital to competing in the GLVC and NCAA Division II.
Current support through the PAF is helping to pave the way for the future of Peacock Athletics in the following areas:
- Holistic Student-Athlete Development
- Mental health training & resources
- Athletic Training equipment & enhancements
- Leadership development
- Raising the Bar
- Weight room facility enhancements & equipment purchases
- Stadium Enhancements
- Soccer goals for the turf, new team benches, locker room upgrades, video board replacement
- PAAC Upgrades
- New batting cage netting, putting green replacement, launch monitors
- Replacement of practice equipment
- New uniforms and team apparel
- Team destination trips to compete in Hawaii, Alaska, Florida, California etc...
The Peacocks need your backing to have the best possible chance for success! Financial support for college athletics has become a vital part to the success of any program, and UIU is no different. Upgrading facilities and equipment, along with meeting other needs for our programs is a constant battle that cannot be won without a total team effort.

- MONTHLY AUTOMATIC TRANSFER
- You may set up a payment plan through your bank account. Make your payments on a monthly basis to help maximize your gift to the PAF!
- MATCHING GIFTS
- If your employer has a matching gift program, you can double your contribution to the PAF. Not sure if your employer has a matching gift program, check out the following link uiu.edu/matchinggift to search for your employer & see if they offer matching gifts.
- PLANNED GIFTS
- Planned gifts can be made in a number of ways including, but not limited to; stock transfers, bequests, insurance policies, charitable remainder trusts, wills and land/property donations.
- GIFTS-IN-KIND
- Gifts-in-kind are any goods/services donated to the department that would normally have to be purchased. Hotel rooms, equipment, and automobiles are a few examples. Please contact Associate Athletic Director, Howie Thompson, at 563-425-5307 directly to setup.
